screen doors

Unread postby sv.traveler » Tue Jun 26, 2018 9:09 am

Hi group, A new day a new question! Did LeSharo's ever come with screen doors added. Anybody ever make a screen door/ bug screen of any kind? Looking for ideas. Much thanks to all in advance. David and Haila.

87 and up all came with screen doors.... there was a custom run by Winnebago for the earlier units, but are now quite rare. The 87 and up units do not fit the older units by the way!

Cheers, Scott

There are certainly the kind of screens that you can add over house
doors. They are hung from above and have a magnetic strip that joins
the two halves together, so you can easily walk out and they fall back
and join together again after you step through them. If I were in your
shoes, I'd be looking for some way to suspend those, either interior
or exterior, though they would have to be taken down and rolled up if
you put them up exterior. Here's a link to the typical kind....

Hi Roberta, Yes I looked at those magnetic screens- maybe. Make a pocket at the top and slide onto a tension spring curtain rod and just let hang and puddle at the bottom. And besides the bugs, we also need to consider our cat- maybe an adjustable small pet gate or window screen at the bottom. It's funny, when we were on our boat she could go out the door anytime she pleased and not get off the boat but now traveling with a cat is presenting a whole new set of situations to plan for. Thanks for your input. Haila and ShellyCat.
