87 gas LeSharo Parts substitutes

(Cut and paste from Yahoo Group, thank you Arch for sharing this useful parts information for the Winnie LeSharo RV)

Ron

Here is a bunch of parts that I have used on my 87 gas LeSharo. Sure beats
paying Winne prices.

Rear bearing outer------Timken 32205BA
inner------Timken 32207C

Relays for fans and AC Bosch 332 209 150

Replacement engine fans----Hayden dual fans 3800 These will even bolt
to the present brackets on the radiator.

Air hose between air mass sensor and throttle body. NAPA #825-6028
This will work in a pinch. The stock one gives better power on top end.
The problem is it is no longer made.

Fuel injector----Bosch 0 280 150 211 Fits BMW 318 83 to 84 and
84 to 86 Fuego and R18

Wiring harness for injectors is the same as a 79 Audi Fox---got mine
from the junk yard---$15

Air filter Renault-----# 77 01 030 196
Fram -------# VO7E 429
NAPA Gold-# 2185

Fuel pump Bosch ----0 580 464 023

Fuel pressure regulator Bosch -----0 280 160 213

Tranny gasket-----Renault------77 00 680 106

Rocker Arm Cover Gasket------Renault----77 01 349 561

Several cars sold in the US used these parts---cross the #s over
at local parts store or import car place. You will save about 1/2 the
cost.

The last one is the front turnsignal light assembly. It is made by ford.
D9ZZ-15A201-C
Lamp assembly PO25A 051294

Sure hope this helps some of you save a lot of money.

I am missing the tube that goes from the maf sensor to the throttle body...I called NAPA trying to get that replacement breather tube...they did not have any record of the part number that was listed in the above post. Does anyone have another option that I'm not thinking of, or maybe know of the application for that number, or another application? Thanks for the help.

Oil filter replacement I used from a Chrysler Dealer is a MOPAR filter, previously 05012968 AA, changed to a new # 33004195. Thanks for the above information, very useful.

Re: OIL FILTER

Unread postby Terry » Sat Nov 07, 2009 4:40 pm

I went to Auto Zone to buy an oil filter for the Vamper and I specifically compared the two part numbers that came up.

The Mobil1 M1-105 translates to a Bosch (didnt record this one) and
The 1986 Renault Fuego translates to a Bosch 3401 which is what I bought.

Both models are a 20mm thread and both will work just fine, but the Mobil1 M1-105 version is shorter and less capacity, therefore I dont recommend getting this one. Stick with the Renault Fuego and the larger version.

The salesman explained that both the Mobile1 and the Bosch have the anti siphon valves in them so that's a plus.

BOSCH 3401

Other matching makes from the computer:

STP PH2809
FRAM PH3985 and TG3985
AC DELCO PF970C
CHAMP PH2809

I just wanted to add that the old oil filter I just replaced on my 1987 Phasar was a CarQuest 85626. I would go for the Bosch 3401 if you can find it but here's yet another oil filter make to add to the list for those who need it. The 3401 fit like a charm and I feel good about it.

Pieces D'Origine:
CV BOOT w/grease pack and clamps, Renault--77 01 466 172

I've got a box of a whole buncha other stuff! Some things I know what they are, they are all for a LeSharo--new in packages, but some I don't know. I do have the part numbers, though. If anyone has a reference to the RENAULT part numbers and description PLEASE, PLEASE , PLEASE get in touch with me. I'm sure I've listed the contents of that box on this website before, so you can search my meager posts if you are only mildly interested.

Hi, I am a newbie. I just bought a 1987 LeSharo with the original Renault engine. This is all completely new to me. I didn't know it would be so hard to find parts for it when I bought it.
Does anyone know a substitute part number for the fuel filter? Thanks in advance for any help available.
